“Grateful for the Opportunity to Discuss Gastric Cancer on Fana TV
I recently joined the Fana Health program to provide a comprehensive overview of gastric cancer—a significant growing health challenge both globally and here in Ethiopia.
During our live broadcast, we took a deep dive into:
- The Burden: Understanding the global and national impact of the disease
- Risk Factors and Symptoms: Identifying the common signs/symptoms and modifiable lifestyle triggers.
- Diagnosis and Treatment: Navigating modern clinical pathways and the importance of early detection.
- Prevention: Actionable steps to reduce risk.
One of the most interesting and rewarding parts of the session was addressing real-time questions from viewers, helping to clarify common misconceptions about gastric cancer.
Knowledge is the first step toward prevention. I invite my network to watch the full program and join the conversation on how we can improve oncology outcomes through awareness.”
