Aaron Sverdlov, Member Board of Directors at International Cardio-Oncology Society, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A little belated, but I am delighted and honored to share that I have joined the Board of Directors of the International Cardio-Oncology Society (IC-OS) for the 2026–2029 term.
IC-OS plays a central role in bringing together clinicians, researchers, educators, nurses, pharmacists, allied health professionals, patients and advocates from around the world to advance the field of cardio-oncology. The mission is to improve cardiovascular care for people with cancer and cancer survivors!
As cancer outcomes continue to improve, we need to ensure that cardiovascular disease does not become a barrier to effective cancer therapy, survivorship, or quality of life. This requires genuine collaboration across disciplines, health systems and countries, and a shared commitment to research, education, clinical care and advocacy.
I am very grateful to IC-OS for the opportunity to contribute to this important global mission, and I look forward to working with colleagues across the international cardio-oncology community to help strengthen and expand the impact of the Society over the coming years.”
