American Association for Cancer Research shared a post:
“Today, we released the results of a national survey measuring voters’ attitudes about federal funding for medical research, which found very high levels of support for federal funding for medical and cancer research across the electorate.
- 89% of voters favor the federal government using taxpayer dollars to fund medical research;
- 83% favor increasing funding for cancer research;
- and 71% think increasing federal funding for medical research should be a top congressional priority.
