I am pleased to share that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has launched a major one-year coordinated research project focused on CT-based prostate cancer contouring guided by AI verification.
This initiative will:
- Develop internationally harmonized guidelines for prostate cancer contouring using CT
- Create and validate an automated artificial intelligence–supported contouring tool
- Strengthen global standardization and enhance precision in image-guided radiotherapy.
