Jason A. Mouabbi, Assistant Professor at MD Anderson Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“SABCS25 was an incredibly rewarding and successful meeting.
I was honored to be involved in 13 invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC)–specific accepted abstracts, and to present two studies that each received national recognition:
MERIT_Award (San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium; AACR Journals)
PS2-10-30: Tumor-associated macrophage (TAM) and cancer-associated fibroblast (CAF) profiles in invasive lobular carcinoma versus no special type (NST)
This work was conducted in collaboration with BostonGene, leveraging advanced spatial and immune profiling to deepen our understanding of the ILC tumor microenvironment.
GRASP_Award
PS3-07-21: Validation of the CTS as a predictor of late distant recurrence in HR-positive, HER2-negative invasive lobular carcinoma
This marks the 6th consecutive GRASP Award recognizing my work in this space.
Equally meaningful was the opportunity to reconnect with my Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance Inc. (LBCA) patient advocacy family and share an update on the current state and future progress of lobular breast cancer research being conducted at MD Anderson Cancer Center
Deeply grateful to collaborators, patients, and advocates who continue to push this field forward.”
