“Urška Košir, Nicola U., Erik Sturesson, and Tomaž Deželak brought Youth Cancer Europe to Paris for the Strong AYA General Assembly Meeting.
As members of the Patient Advisory Board (PAB), they’re bringing the lived experience perspective to the table – making sure that young people affected by cancer remain at the heart of every discussion and decision from day one.
The project aims to transform cancer care for adolescents and young adults by openly talking about their unique needs and challenges. From safely and ethically collecting patient data, to creating a user-friendly portal for patients, HCPs, and policy makers, the project is working towards a more personalised, patient-centred, transparent, and data-driven healthcare system. One that is built with and led by young people and their unique lived experiences.
Thank you to our incredible patient advocates for sharing your voices, insights, and experiences to shape better care for young people living with and beyond cancer.”
