The European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS)’s Education Working Group is doing incredible work to build a more confident, resilient, and well-prepared oncology nursing workforce. Their efforts to standardise competencies, foster continuous learning, and promote leadership and research in cancer nursing make a real difference. Cancer nursing is evolving fast. From prevention, diagnostics, therapy, to survivorship and end-of-life care, nurses are central throughout the continuum. An education framework that helps nurses meet those challenges is key.
