Mieke Van Hemelrijck, Professor of Cancer Epidemiology at King’s College London, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The academic year has officially begun, and TOUR: Transforming cancer OUtcomes through Research had the pleasure of kicking things off with the Module “Introduction of Clinical Exercise Epidemiology” for the Sport and Exercise Medical Sciences BSc at King’s College London.
We were thrilled to welcome Emily Curtis to the first lecture, where she shared her inspiring journey as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and her ongoing PhD research in collaboration with the The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. Her story sparked curiosity and motivation among our students as they begin their own academic and professional journeys.
We’re excited to work with this new cohort and support them in discovering the many opportunities ahead in clinical exercise science and beyond!”
