Kinga Wójtowicz, Director Healthcare EU at RPP Group, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Right to be forgotten discussed at the annual Oncorun in Warsaw!
For several years now, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Françoise Meunier to help end discrimination against cancer survivors. I’m therefore truly encouraged to see these vital conversations gaining momentum in Poland.
Yesterday, RPP joined the annual Onkobieg 2025 in Warsaw, organised by the Stowarzyszenie Pomocy Chorym na Mięsaki i Czerniaki Sarcoma – an inspiring event that brings together patients, advocates, and supporters in solidarity with cancer survivors.
As part of the program, I participated in a panel on the “Right to be Forgotten” for cancer survivors, alongside Prof. Anna Raciborska and Ania Buchacz. Our discussion focused on the urgent challenge of financial discrimination in Poland, where, unlike in many other EU Member States, no legal protections currently exist.
A heartfelt thank you to Kamil D. and the entire team of Stowarzyszenie Pomocy Chorym na Mięsaki i Czerniaki Sarcoma for organising such an impactful event and for ensuring that the Right to be Forgotten remains at the centre of these important conversations.”
Françoise Meunier, Founder of the European Initiative on Ending Discrimination Against Cancer Survivors, shared Kinga Wójtowicz‘s post on LinkedIn, adding:
“Great to see the Right to Be Forgotten discussed at Onkobieg 2025 in Warsaw!
An inspiring event uniting patients, advocates, and experts to push for fair treatment of cancer survivors – specifically those who completed treatment five years ago without relapse – and to work towards ending financial discrimination in Poland. Congratulations to the organizers and panelists, and a heartfelt thank you to Kinga Wójtowicz for your continued support in ensuring cancer survivorship remains high on the agenda.”
