An Inside Look at the 2025 Winn CIPP Symposium! – Winn Awards
Winn Awards shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Hot off the presses! An inside look at the 2025 Winn CIPP Symposium!
This year’s symposium brought together 66 outstanding medical students from across the U.S. to celebrate the culmination of their summer externships — and their shared commitment to advancing community-centered clinical research.
Held at Fred Hutch in Seattle, this transformational weekend featured keynotes, panels, patient voices, and forged deep connections that will help shape the future of medicine.
Special thanks to Mason Chiang from Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation and Amanda Beasley, PhD from Amgen for being there to share your insights and represent the visionary organizations that make this program possible. (Gilead Sciences is another!)
Thank you also to the Fred Hutch team, that was so incredibly hospitable; to Lucio Miele, Christopher Li, and Johnnie Orozco for speaking to our students; for Dr. Rob Winn for Zooming in from Chicago; to all our panelists for sharing your experiences; to site mentors for providing transformative exposure to community-based research; and to our students for their dedication and true passion for this work.
Together, we’re building the next generation of clinical trialists to ensure Better Science For All.
Meet Cohort 4, explore photos, and read the full recap here.”
