Daniel Stover: Real world studies versus negative clinical trials
Daniel Stover, Medical Oncologist and Computational Biologist at Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, shared a post on X:
“Why is publishing a ‘real world’ study seemingly far easier than a negative clinical trial?
Real world analyses may not have robust analysis plan, yet big leads to p<0.05 publication.
Clinical trials get picked apart, often for things outside of control.
Daniel Stover does both.”
