The Max Foundation helped over 600 kidney cancer patients who live in the poorest countries receive treatment and support
Graciela Mabel Woloj, Board Member at the Max Foundation, shared a post on LinkedIn: .
“On Kidney Cancer Day, I would like to raise the awareness for people globally who are affected by this disease. As a board member of The Max Foundation, I am proud to share that it has helped over 600 kidney cancer patients who live in the poorest countries receive treatment and support.
One such person is Mrs. Kone, a mother of four who travels two days from her home in Mauritania, West Africa, to the neighboring country of Mali for her medicine. She underwent surgery last year for her kidney tumor and says, ‘I can’t pay for this medicine, and this medicine saved my life after my operation, so I’ll be making the trip for survival and to see my children grow up.’
Join me in making a difference in the lives of people who are impacted by kidney cancer.”
