Françoise Meunier: I would like to extend my support to the courageous children who face cancer, as well as to their families.

“September marks Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, also known as ‘Gold September’. I would like to extend my support to the courageous children who face cancer, as well as to their families.
Unfortunately, the fight against childhood cancer does not end with the treatment. For many survivors, there is an additional battle to fight – after overcoming cancer, these individuals often face discrimination because of their medical history. This includes financial discrimination which leads to difficulties in obtaining insurance, mortgages, or loans. It’s a burden they should not have to bear.
During Gold September, let’s work together to create a future where these brave individuals can enjoy a normal life, free from discrimination.”
