“June is also Cancer Immunotherapy Awareness Month, which was created by the Cancer Research Institute (CRI) after the FDA approval of the first checkpoint inhibitor in 2011.
This month is dedicated to raising awareness, educating the public about immunotherapy, and reflecting on the significant advancements in cancer immunotherapy.”
