Guillermo Chantada: Great study of an animal model for testing the orbital disposition of topotecan after intra-arterial administration.
Guillermo Chantada, the President of SIOP, recently shared a post by IOVC Journal on X/Twitter, adding:
“Great study of an animal model for testing the orbital disposition of topotecan after intra-arterial administration. A new tool for treating orbital dissemination in retinoblastoma? Grupo América Latina de Oncología Pediátrica and GRAACC are working on this.”
Quoting IOVC Journal’s post:
“A new article in the Ocular Oncology issue by Paula Schaiquevich et al Hospital Garrahan and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center study orbital and systemic exposure of topotecan in the swine model after ophthalmic artery chemosurgery and intravenous delivery.”
