Fumiko Ladd Chino is a cancer researcher and Assistant Attending in Radiation Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (USA), who specializes in gynecological and breast cancers. She was also a caregiver for her husband Andrew Mark Ladd, PhD who died from cancer in 2007. She is a recipient of numerous awards, including the ASCO Excellence in Equity Award (2022), the Duke Radiation Oncology Award for Outstanding Clinical Research (2019), etc..
Dr. Neha Vapiwala is a Professor and Vice Chair of Education in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in the management of genitourinary cancers. Her research focuses on enhancing photon- and proton-based radiation delivery, and she is the Principal Investigator for several therapeutic trials for prostate cancer, including a national phase III trial on PET scan-directed treatment for post-prostatectomy biochemical recurrence. Dr. Vapiwala is actively involved in various national and international scientific committees, such as ASCO, ASTRO, and the NCI’s Prostate Cancer Task Force, and serves on the editorial boards of JAMA Oncology and the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
