In a post by Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia, on LinkedIn, it says:
“The staff of the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia regularly undergo training in prestigious and popular international clinics.
As a result of this cooperation, they are not only constantly informed about global developments in the field, the newest methods of treatment, but are also able to organize joint professional discussions with the centers.
Since 1995, every year, a number of Armenian pediatric hematologists-oncologists are trained in Germany. And Germany provides medical assistance for the treatment of Armenian children with cancer, which is one of the factors that contributed to the increase of the number of those treated up to 70%.
Lilit Sargsyan, Head of the Pediatric Oncology Department of the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center in Armenia, is now the coordinator of the foundation’s affairs, so she visits our partners in Germany twice a year.”
