Ramy Sedhom: One of my favorite abstracts at ASCO24 by Mary Boulanger
Ramy Sedhom shared on X:
“One of my favorite abstracts at ASCO24 by fellow Mary Boulanger. Qualitative study exploring communication gaps when starting immunotherapy for incurable cancers.
Important work we can all learn from. Mentored by Laura Petrillo (who has done other great work in this space). .
“Patients who did not have long-term responses experienced overwhelming disappointment (“I went into the immunotherapy knowing this was going to save my life. And it’s not.”
Many will see Joseph Greer and Jen Temel on the big stage (Plenary and Oral Abstracts). Also, worth highlighting their years of ongoing mentorship for trainees.”
