“It’s been a busy few days in Canberra for Pancare Foundation Head, Program Development and Advocacy Sue Hegarty who had the opportunity to meet this morning with The Honourable Minister for Health and Aged Care Mark Butler at the 2024 Medicines Australia Post Budget Health briefing.
Pancare Foundation thanks the Albanese Government for the budget measures that will improve outcomes and survival for people impacted by upper gastrointestinal (GI) cancer.
Including:
▪ The Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) Low Survival Cancer’s Mission, Pancare have tirelessly advocated for increased research funding for Upper GI Cancer.
▪ The Reducing Health Inequities Mission will improve access to quality health services by priority populations.
▪ The National One Stop Shop for Clinical Trials that will increase access for people impacted by Upper GI Cancer to clinical trials.
Pancare Foundation is determined to improve survival outcomes for people who are diagnosed with upper GI cancers.
