Kimryn Rathmell: Nurses are critical in caring for people with cancer
Kimryn Rathmell shared a post on X:
“Nurses are critical in caring for people with cancer. They administer therapies, manage side effects, prepare patients and families for what to expect, and much more. Patients often interact with multiple types of nurses throughout their Cancer Care journey.
From registered nurses + nurse practitioners assisting patients with medical needs, to infusion nurses guiding the treatment process, to nurse administrators ensuring seamless operations, to nurse researchers managing clinical trials—each role is unique and indispensable.”
