Doug Rubinson: The best drug in GI cancers is 5-FU

“In oncology, we spend a lot of money/effort trying to find new drugs. The best drug in GI cancers continues to be 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) – a drug which costs <$1/dose.

We could likely be using this drug far better. Here’s a first step.”
