“If you are a researcher or a professional with academic background involved in various aspects of oncology research we invite you to register here. For the fully reimbursed Training on Equitable, Inclusive, and Diverse Cancer Care taking place between 3 – 6 June in Cluj-Napoca, Romania!
The training sessions, featuring the Train-the-Trainer Toolkit, were designed in collaboration with patients, academics, and healthcare providers, ensuring that the training addresses real-world challenges and provides practical strategies for promoting Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in cancer care.
The training sessions will be covering cultural awareness, recognizing inequality, inclusive communication, creating a safe environment, supporting families, and empowering patients, addressing discrimination, conducting comprehensive needs assessments, employing inclusive research techniques, effective advocacy, and much more.
Designed in collaboration with patients, academics, and healthcare providers, our training sessions are tailored to tackle, address the real-world challenges and equip participants with practical strategies for promoting Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in cancer care.
Hosted by Youth Cancer Europe as part of the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Work Package within the European Network of Youth Cancer Survivors a project funded by the European Commission to deliver on the EU Cancer Plan.
