“Perhaps with rare exceptions, equitable access to pharmaceutical products is not a given. But through partnerships, investments, financial architecture, and intensive collaborations, we can tip the balance.
Thank you Prof. Prashant Yadav for bringing us together at the The World Vaccine Congress this week to learn from Dr. Abebe Genetu Bayih on Africa CDC’s regional manufacturing agenda, Dr. Amadou Sall on Institut Pasteur de Dakar’s strategy and operational leadership, and Dr. Charles Holmes on lessons from ARV production and distribution, as well as for the opportunity to share Bill & Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute’s approach to embedding access into pharmaceutical product development.”
