SIOP (International Society of Paediatric Oncology) shared the results of 2024 SIOP Leader Elections. Rob Pieters, Chief Medical Officer of Board of Directors of Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology, is the new President-Elect of the Society.
About Rob Pieters
Dr. Rob Pieters is a distinguished pediatric oncologist with notable roles as Chief Medical Officer and co-CEO at the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology, and as Professor of Pediatric Oncology at Utrecht University. Dr. Pieters has received prestigious awards, including a Royal Knighthood Decoration, ODAS award, Schweisguth Prize of the International Society of Paediatric Oncology, and has played key leadership roles in numerous national and international pediatric oncology boards and committees.
