“There’s an urgency of now in patient navigation.
For decades, colleagues created the evidence base demonstrating the multi-stakeholder value proposition for navigation.
And organizations like American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network have been in state capitals and DC advocating for coverage.
Now that such federal coverage exists, the baton has been passed to oncology delivery organizations to create and deploy such services. We must rise to the moment because so much preventable suffering is at stake.
Appreciate the opportunity for Karen Knudsen and myself to share our thoughts with the AACI (Association of American Cancer Institutes).”
