Courtney Jones: A New Publication From the Lab in Blood
Courtney Jones, Assistant Professor at Cincinnati Children’s, shared on LinkedIn:
“Exited to share a new publication from the lab in Blood. This study led by Dr. Cristiana O’Brien demonstrates that circulating lipid levels can be used to predict chemotherapy response in AML patients.
Unexpectedly, we also found that circulating metabolites and lipids correlate with mutations present in the AML cells. This was a highly collaborative project that would not have been possible without our amazing collaborators Angelo D’Alessandro, Julie Reisz, Sushant Kumar and many others!
There are still many discoveries to be made with this data. All of the data is available in the publication as well as in a shinyapp.”
Title: Plasma lipid levels predict chemotherapy response and survival in acute myeloid leukemia
