Jia (Jenny) Liu: Excited to Share that NECTA PANNA-COTA Trial Reaches 100 Patients Enrolled
Jia (Jenny) Liu, Translational Lead of Early Phase Drug Development at The Kinghorn Cancer Centre, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Excited to share that the inaugural investigator-led clinical trial across the NSW Early Clinical Trials Alliance (NECTA) Consortium PANNA-COTA, which marries liquid biopsy to early phase trial matching, co-funded by Cancer Institute NSW and Guardant Health has completed enrolment with the 100th patient consenting this week!
This has been a phenomenal effort across all participating metropolitan, regional and rural sites across NSW Early Clinical Trials Alliance (NECTA) over the last 2 years. Many thanks to partnering early phase trials sites Scientia Clinical Research, Macquarie University Hospital, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney, Westmead Hospital, Blacktown Hospital, South Western Sydney Local Health District Liverpool Hospital, Woollongong Hospital and Border Oncology we look forward to sharing the final results at an upcoming international oncology meeting – stay tuned!
Relevant to this; I will be presenting on genomic targets and precision oncology at the Private Cancer Physicians of Australia Limited PCPA Summit 2025 next weekend and discussing how early phase trials bridge the gap between novel biomarker-matched therapies and access for patients.”
