Real Lives: Cancer Stories of Indigenous People – ACS CAN
American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network – ACS CAN shared a post on LinkedIn:
“You don’t want to miss this powerful screening of Real Lives: Cancer Stories of Indigenous People.
This American Cancer Society documentary series amplifies the voices of American Indian, Alaska Native, Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities affected by cancer. Hosted by ACS CAN’s Indigenous Volunteer Voices affinity group, the virtual screening will be followed by a panel featuring storytellers from the film.
Indigenous peoples continue to face a disproportionate cancer burden. ACS and ACS CAN are committed to ensuring Indigenous voices are central in shaping cancer prevention, treatment, and advocacy efforts.
Tune in to learn more, raise awareness, and stand with us in honoring Indigenous voices and building a healthier, stronger future for all.
Aug. 26, 7:30 pm ET, 4:30 pm PT.”
