“We recently had an energizing day of transdisciplinary program building at the inaugural joint retreat between Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric and Earth Science.
It was inspiring to see colleagues from across disciplines come together with a shared vision—one that recognizes that the future of cancer research and care is inseparable from the world we live in and environmental stressors we are subject to.
We at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine are uniquely poised to create cross-cutting clinical and scientific excellence at the intersection of:
- Cancer biology, prevention, and treatment
- Climate resilience and environmental stressors
