Devika Das: A Phenomenon Known as Pseudo-Acute Kidney Injury
Devika Das, Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine, shared a post on LinkedIn about recent paper she and colleagues co-authored published in Journal of Clinical Oncology.
“Several TKIs can inhibit OCT2 and MATE1, leading to elevated serum creatinine levels without affecting the GFR, a phenomenon known as pseudo-acute kidney injury. Sharing our correspondence regarding the same- highlighting this clinical challenge.
Cystatin C clearance helps in testing: pearl for SOC and clinical trials.”
