Tanja Obradovic: Outstanding work from UK
Tanja Obradovic, Vice President of Oncology Scientific Affairs at ICON plc, shared a post by Florian Muller, Co-Head of Biology at Powder Gate Discovery, posted on LinkedIn:
“Outstanding work from UK – whole-genome analysis (WGA) covered 33 tumor types on samples from patients diagnosed with cancer who were recruited to the Cancer Programme of the 100,000 Genomes Project between 2015 and 2019. So much potential for WGA to support rational data-driven clinical decisions.”
Quoting Florian Muller:
“With 100x coverage at WGS – this should be a resource for the definitive human cancer genome dispensability map – Ie the full list of genes that can be homozygously deleted in cancer.”
