Vilma Pacheco Barcia: New Findings from the PANTHEIA-SEOM study

Vilma Pacheco Barcia, Medical Oncologist and Assistant Professor at University Francisco de Vitoria, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology Gastrointestinal Cancer Congress ESMO GI 25 starts today, and we are proud to present new findings from the PANTHEIA-Sociedad Española de Oncología Médica (SEOM) study, focused on advancing prognostic, predictive and therapeutic insights in metastatic pancreatic cancer and the association of systemic inflammation, malnutrition, cachexia and thrombosis.

Honored to lead the coordination of this multicenter, nationwide, and multidisciplinary clinical and translational effort involving investigators from 28 hospitals in the PANTHEIA-SEOM Study Group.

We invite you to visit our posters:

  • Poster 290P: Impact of the Systemic Inflammation Response Index (SIRI) and Artificial Intelligence (FocusedOn software ®) on chemotherapy toxicity and prognosis in metastatic pancreatic cancer: A proof-of-concept from the PANTHEIA-SEOM Study Group. July 3, 15:30–16:30
Grateful for the collaboration of ARTIS Development Raúl Guerra Hernández.
  • Poster 289P: Prognostic significance of the SIRI and nutritional status in metastatic pancreatic cancer: Results from the PANTHEIA-SEOM study. Presented by Dr. Carmen Guillen Ponce on July 3, 15:30–16:30

We extend our sincere gratitude to all study investigators and members of the scientific committee, Dr. Paula Jimenez Fonseca and Dr. Andres J. Muñoz Martin, whose commitment and collaboration made this work possible.

Looking forward to insightful discussions at ESMO GI 25.”
