Nazik Hammad: Joining the Panel on Metastatic Breast Cancer at the Best of ASCO Africa
Nazik Hammad, Medical Oncologist and professor at St. Michael’s Hospital, University of Toronto, shared a post on LinkedIn by AORTIC- Africa, adding:
“Landed in Addis Ababa this morning and made it on time to join the panel on metastatic breast cancer at the Best of ASCO Africa. Is the new data relevant, and are the drugs accessible? Couldn’t agree more with my co-panelist Verna Vanderpuye that the critical steps to improve care are to have equitable access to biomarker testing (ER, PR. HER2), universal health coverage, and training the workforce to provide high-quality care.”
