Lung Cancer Europe Shared New Report on Tobacco-Related Cancer Cases from Ireland’s National Cancer Registry
Lung Cancer Europe shared a post by National Cancer Registry Ireland on X, adding:
“New figs out this week from the National Cancer Registry Ireland show 10 people a day are diagnosed with a cancer caused by smoking. Lung cancer is the most common. Ireland are members of LuCE – we want to echo the importance of this report. We support efforts to reduce smoking rates and prevent lung cancer deaths including through screening and earlier diagnosis. This is a challenge right across Europe. But it’s one we can change.”
Quoting National Cancer Registry Ireland‘s post:
“On average, 10 people in Ireland each day are diagnosed with a cancer caused by tobacco-smoking. Discover more about tobacco-related cancers in our newly released report.”
