Be Brooks Brave: A Legacy of Hope and Change in Pediatric Cancer Research – St. Baldrick’s Foundation
St. Baldrick’s Foundation shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In the face of unimaginable loss, Tracey and Josh chose purpose. After losing their son Brooks to cancer at age 6, they started a St. Baldrick’s head-shaving event that has since raised over $340,000 for lifesaving pediatric cancer research.
Eight years strong, the Be Brooks Bravecommunity continues to inspire and drive real change.
Our Chief Development Officer, Michael T. Lockard, CFRE, had the privilege of attending this year’s event and shared, “I hold close the memory of meeting [Tracey and Josh], and the incredible impact [they] all have made in my life. I’ll carry Brooks’ legacy with me every day as we keep up the fight to conquer kids’ cancer.”
Thank you to everyone who continues to stand brave in Brooks’ name.”
