Michael Sapienza: Structured Exercise Significantly Improves Survival In Stage II and III Colon Cancer

Michael Sapienza, Chief Executive Officer of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“A new study published in The New England Journal of Medicine and presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) shows that structured exercise significantly improves survival in patients with stage II and III colon cancer. At the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, we are committed to leading with evidence and action. We support advancing the science of survivorship to drive better outcomes.

Alliance Chief Medical Consultant and Project Cure CRC Scientific Co-Chair John Marshall provided insights on the study findings to Don Rauf for Everyday Health.
