Sachin Jain Shared Insights from SCANkind Initiative for Older Adults in a New Essay on Becker’s Healthcare
Sachin Jain, President and CEO of SCAN Group and Health Plan and an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A few years ago, fresh from my experience as a board member of Make-A-Wish America, I asked my colleague Aiko Tan:
‘We have Make-A-Wish for kids. Why not for older adults?’
And from that SCANkind was born.
In a new essay in Becker’s Healthcare, I describe the lessons Aiko and her team learned working with over 200 of the first people served by SCANkind.
It’s been a remarkable journey with many lessons.
