Toufic Kachaamy: Fifty feels like both a celebration and a beginning
Toufic Kachaamy, Chief of Medicine and Director of Gastroenterology at City of Hope, shared on LinkedIn:
“Today, I turn half a century old.
It’s a milestone that invites reflection and my heart is full.
To my incredible wife and family: thank you for being my anchor and my inspiration. Your love has shaped every chapter of my life. You make me a better version of myself everyday.
To my dear friends: your presence, laughter, and encouragement have carried me through challenges and triumphs alike. So grateful for you.
To my work family: I’m endlessly grateful for the purpose we share and the difference we make together every day. We are fortunate to have a calling and not a job.
And to my patients: thank you for your trust, your stories, and your strength. You’ve taught me more about life, resilience, and hope than I could have ever imagined. You are an inspiration and an endless source of hope.
Fifty feels like both a celebration and a beginning. I’m stepping into this new decade with a deeper sense of gratitude, curiosity, and commitment to grow, give, and live fully.
Here’s to the road ahead and to savoring every setback, every learning opportunity and every triumph”
