Ricardo Garcia: Ketty Puig’s Role in Advancing Family-Centered Pediatric Oncology Support
Ricardo Garcia, Founder I CEO Oncoheroes Biosciences, shared a post by Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation, adding:
“Today, I want to honor the incredible woman at the center of our family’s journey – my wife, Ketty Puig.
Everything we’ve built through the Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation, and especially the Richi House, is rooted in her strength, her compassion, and her unwavering love for our son, Richi Garcia Puig. Ketty carried us through the darkest moments of his pediatric cancer battle with grace and resilience I can’t begin to describe.
She has been the quiet force behind every step we’ve taken – transforming our pain into purpose, and creating a place of hope and healing for other families walking a similar path. The Richi House exists because of her.
Ketty, your courage inspires me every single day. I’m in awe of what you’ve done for our son, our family, and this community. Happy Mother’s Day. You are the heart of it all.”
Quoting Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation‘s post:
“Happy Mother’s Day.
Today, we honor the strength, resilience, and unconditional love of all mothers – especially those whose lives have been touched by childhood cancer.
At the Richi House, we witness that strength every month in the incredible moms who show up, hold their families together, and bring hope to our community of pediatric brain tumor and leukemia survivors. Among them is Ketty Puig, pictured here with her son Richi Garcia Puig. Her journey as the mother of a pediatric brain tumor survivor inspired the creation of the Richi House – a place of support, understanding, and belonging for families facing the toughest challenges.
To all the mothers in our community and beyond: thank you for your endless love, your quiet power, and your unshakable commitment. We celebrate you today, and every day.”
