“Yes – I love dreaming and connecting with fellow dreamers who turn visions into action.
At the SIOP Europe, the European Society for Paediatric Oncology (SIOPE) 6th Annual Meeting in Budapest, Laura Ioana Stefanescu (an oncologist) and I (an advocate)crafted plans to maximize Romania’s EU membership (as you’re aware, the recent election results are critical for our hospital’s future!).
Our focus? Research collaborations to create a better future for children with cancer.
This aligns perfectly with SIOPE’s mission:
- Beat childhood cancer by addressing inequalities
- Improve survivors’ quality of life
- Drive progress through awareness, EU advocacy, education, research, and EU projects
