“World Radiotherapy Awareness Day 7 September.
To help raise awareness I’m sharing videos with pictures of the technology to demonstrate innovations in radiotherapy.
In 2022 I interviewed A/Prof Dion Forstner, Radiation Oncologist and Site Director at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, about the new MR LINAC and how it differs from a standard LINAC or radiation therapy machine.
We discuss the benefits for cancer patients, including head and neck cancer patients and patients with pancreatic cancer.”
