Caroline Lark Highlights ESO’s Leadership and Mentorship Program in Zagreb
Caroline Lark, Managing Director at Talent for Growth Ltd, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“This weekend, The European School of Oncology (ESO) held its Improving Cancer Outcomes and Leadership programme in Zagreb.
This is a community of committed, resilient individuals from all over Europe who care passionately about improving all aspects of cancer treatment and care and delivering better outcomes for patients across the continent.
We have partnered with ESO to deliver mentorship training for the past few years, and it was lovely to meet some of our mentors and mentees in person and discover what they are currently working on.
What struck me when we were delivering our leadership workshops was just how important it is for you as a leader to have time to reflect on and develop your leadership, even when you’re at the top of your profession. When the pressure feels relentless, it’s your ability to lead yourself and those around you that gets you through.
For me, it was an enormous opportunity to learn about this area of medicine and all the great work that is being done to improve cancer outcomes. I may have been out of my comfort zone at times, but it was an amazing experience. A big thank you to European School of Oncology, my co-facilitator Lynda Holt and everyone who participated with so much energy and dedication.
