Theory-Guided Return-to-Work Intervention for Individuals Touched by Cancer – Christine Maheu
Christine Maheu, Co Director at “Cancer and Work”, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Cancer and Work | Cancer et Travail is pleased to share that our latest study — Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial of iCanWork: A Theory-Guided Return-to-Work Intervention for Cancer Survivors — has just been published in Current Oncology.
The iCanWork intervention addresses a critical need for cancer survivors facing persistent barriers when returning to work, such as fatigue, cognitive challenges, and workplace accommodations. Our findings show that a tailored, multidisciplinary approach is not only feasible and acceptable, but holds promise to support return to work after cancer, enhance work ability and quality of life.
This important milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to improving return to work support for individuals touched by cancer.
