Kicking Off ESTRO25: What’s Happening on Day 1
The 2025 ESTRO Congress officially commenced today in Vienna, marking the beginning of what promises to be a dynamic and impactful gathering for the global radiation oncology community. The first day featured a robust agenda of scientific sessions, educational courses, and collaborative discussions focused on innovation, clinical excellence, and multidisciplinary care.
Delegates from around the world engaged in thought-provoking presentations, explored new data and technologies, and began meaningful conversations that will shape the direction of cancer treatment in the years ahead. From the opening sessions to the vibrant exchange of ideas across the congress center, Day 1 captured the spirit of ESTRO — a commitment to progress, learning, and connection.
