Phnom Penh Launches Cancer Care Projects to Strengthen Services – City Cancer Challenge
City Cancer Challenge shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In an event that brought together hospital leaders, government representatives, health professionals, and international experts, Phnom Penh officially launched a series of locally-led cancer care projects – each one grounded in the real needs and priorities identified by local stakeholders. From strengthening diagnostics and systemic treatment to improving referral systems for childhood cancer and building peer support networks for patients, these projects mark the beginning of long-term change.
As part of the launch, participants also joined a two-day implementation science workshop, co-hosted with the University of Health Sciences of Cambodia and co-delivered with the University of Melbourne. The training equips teams with practical tools to adapt and evaluate interventions for lasting impact. This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible commitment of all who participated in the launch meeting. Thank you for your passion, your leadership, and your drive to improve cancer care in Phnom Penh.”
