Julie Fleshman Marks 25 Years at PanCAN, Reflects on Personal and Professional Journey
Julie Fleshman, President and CEO of PanCAN, shared on X:
“It is hard to believe I have been at PanCAN for 25 years, and it has been 26 years since my dad died from pancreatic cancer. We are making progress but there is still so much work to be done to accelerate progress for patients.
This year, PanCAN Purple Stride will take place on April 26th in communities all across the country. This provides us an amazing opportunity to come together as a community on one big day!
Please support my Purple Stride team and join me in supporting PanCAN by making a donation. By making a donation to my team, you are helping advance our efforts to accelerate progress and change outcomes for patients.”
Julie Fleshman reflects on her 25-year tenure at the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN), an organization she joined after losing her father to the disease. Under her leadership, PanCAN has become a national force in advocacy, research, and patient support. Her post highlights the advances made in pancreatic cancer while emphasizing the continued urgency to improve outcomes for patients facing this challenging diagnosis.
