Emily Shadron Delivered an Oral Presentation at Brown University’s First National Undergraduate Research Conference
Emily Shadron, Biology, Chemistry and French Student at Tufts University, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“This weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to deliver an oral presentation on some of my recent research for the first ever National Undergraduate Research Conference hosted by Brown University! My presentation, entitled “Characterization and Analysis of Craniofacial Osseous Changes Induced by Chronic Metabolic Acidosis” was selected for a 15-minute presentation and QandA session with over 200 undergraduate students from 125 universities nationwide. The day also consisted of a keynote speech from Wafik S. El-Deiry, poster sessions, and networking.
I am so grateful to have opportunities like these to share and connect with other undergraduate student researchers from across the country. In a turbulent time for research universities and programming, it was inspiring to see such a diverse group of students, projects, and proposals.
I would like to thank Alix Deymier and Laura Doherty, for their support and investment in my research path.
Thank you also to Brown Medicine, Brown University Health, and Brown University School of Engineering for making the day a success!
