Socioeconomic status and cancer inequities in Europe – Youth Cancer Europe
Youth Cancer Europe shared a post on LinkedIn:
“On 23 of April, we will discuss a much-needed topic – Socioeconomic Status and Cancer Inequities in Europe.
Across Europe, your socioeconomic status – your income, your job, your level of education, or whether you live in a city or a small town – can heavily influence your access to early diagnosis, affordable treatment, and the essential care needed to manage your health.
For many, navigating the healthcare system is already a challenge, but when factors like financial stability and geographic location come into play, it can become an even greater burden.
Join us and let’s talk about what’s working, what needs to change, and how we can address the disparities together.
