“The latest NIH advisory group’s recommendations start with moving postdoc base pay to start at $70000 and reiterate the 2012 committee’s recommended 5-year cap on the length of postdoc positions, an expansion of health care, retirement, and child care benefits, and add comments on increased support for international postdocs.

Looking forward to seeing how this will be implemented by NIH and US Institutions.”
