Sidney Chahonyo: A mission to increase the global childhood cancer survival rate to 60% by 2030
Sidney Chahonyo, Executive Director at Hope for Cancer Kids (HCK), recently shared on LinkedIn:
“Last week I had the pleasure of representing Hope for Cancer Kids (HCK) at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 5th Global Alliance Convening in Memphis Tennessee. It was a coming together of institutions, foundations, and individuals with a mission to increase the global childhood cancer survival rate to 60% by 2030 in line with the World Health Organization’s Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer.
We shared ideas, brainstormed solutions, and exchanged knowledge to strengthen and learn from each other.
Thank you to the team at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – ALSAC for your mentorship and capacity-building efforts.”
